One of Macro Sea’s interim proposals for vacant land use.  This project is simply titled “Archery”.  The rendering shows two friends on lifts facing off with bows in hand. 

It’s not a space for the faint of heart, but it is an amazing spectacle, in theory, for those of us with a taste for adventure.

””+ Pool is an initiative to build a floating, water-cleaning pool for the rivers of New York City. Like a giant strainer dropped into the river, + POOL would be the first of its kind to filter river water for recreational swimming, not only in New York City, but around the world.”

“Plus Pool was launched as a lark. We did typical promotional materials. We branded it. We built a website and print materials, and launched a campaign in June of 2010. We were only hoping to attract a few interested engineers and what not. Someone to tell us that this was stupid. No one told us. As it turned out, people actually wanted this project to happen.”

…filling in the blanks of my board.  Starting with an idea of my final layout is something new to me, but I like it.  It gives me a check list of what to do, which helps to motivate me.  Also, I know I won’t end up with graphics I’ll struggle to fit on the presentation.
